About Us
About the Kimberton Fish and Game Association
The Kimberton Fish and Game Association is a Private Sportsman's Club dedicated;
-
To advance the protection, propagation, and conservation of fish, game, and birds in both the State of Pennsylvania and the Nation;
-
To assist in the enforcement of the fish, game, and forestry laws;
-
To produce the enactment of laws for the preservation of fish, game, and forests; to do everything possible to remediate climactic pollution of our water courses from the standpoint of public health, scenic beauty, and as an economic measure, as well as to restore fish and game life;
-
To prevent the malicious destruction of property by hunters and fishermen;
-
To assist in the prevention of forest fires;
-
To interest and educate the general public in the more sportsmen-like methods of taking fish and game;
-
To interest the general public in the vital necessity for reforestation;
-
To bring about more friendly relations between sportsmen and land owners;
-
To encourage the study and recording of natural history of fish and gene species;

To maintain a clean and wholesome out-of-doors in which to grow responsible American Sportsmen;

To encourage the practice of organized rifle, pistol, shot-gunning, and archery competition
-
To support and direct a program of firearm education and safety for the youth of our community;
-
To foster in them an appreciation of our constitutional guarantees regarding the bearing of firearms and the responsibility and duties derived there from.

Our property, which is wholly owned by the KF&GA, is situated on a beautiful 40+ acre plot of land located at 118 Coldstream Rd., in Kimberton, PA. Nestled in the very scenic Phoenixville area of Chester County, Delaware Valley, Pennsylvania, we are just 25 miles north-west of Philadelphia, and 35 miles due south of Allentown, PA.
Our 550+ member Association offers Youth and Adult programs on Hunter Safety and numerous Shooting Competitions each year. We sponsor a monthly Trap Shooting event and other events. In addition, we host nationally recognized Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) accredited John C. Garand matches, and High-Power Rifle Matches. All of our competitive events are OPEN-TO-THE-PUBLIC.
Boasting one 25/50 yard Pistol Range, one 10 yard Combat Pistol Range, a 5 station, 25 foot Bowling Pin Competition Range, a 50 yard Small Bore Rifle Range, a 100 yard High Power Rifle Range, and three 5-position Trap Ranges, we can accommodate the needs of nearly every shooting style and venue in the Chester County Area.
