2010 John C. Garand Schedule Dates:
Match Dates: April 25th, May 23rd, June 27th, July 18th, August 29th, September 26th, October 24th, November 14th, December 12th, 2010.

Participation in this event qualifies the shooter to receive CMP Certificate, and receive price discounts when purchasing CMP Military Surplus weapons.

Entry fee is $25.00 adult / $15.00 junior, which includes ammo.

Rifles are limited to "as issued" 30-06 service rifles, or 30-caliber carbine.
-
30 shots fired for the record with 5 "sighters" at the beginning of the match.
-
1st stage is 10 rds., fired slow-prone, in 10 minutes.
-
2nd stage is 10 rds., fired rapid-prone, in 70 seconds.
-
3rd stage is 10 rds., fired off-hand, in 10 minutes.
-
All stages are shot on the SR-1 (reduced) target.

- If you don't have a Garand, we can loan you one for the match. Call ahead to reserve a rifle.
- Matches scheduled every of the month (April through October), and start at 9:00AM on the 100 yd Rifle Range. Click "event calendar link to see dates of matches (EVENT CALENDAR). NOTE: SEP and OCT matches start at 11:00 AM

Scheduled for the 4th Sunday of each month with a 12:30 PM start time, shoot ends at 4:00 PM or later, depending on the remaining daylight and the number of shooters in attendance.

12 and 20 gauge shells are available at a nominal fee.

This event involves shooting a shotgun at, and breaking, clay birds while they are flying through the air. Shooters can choose to shoot 25---50---75--- or 100 clay pigeons in sets of 25.

Handicap distances and doubles shot on request.
